Some matches are like time capsules to me. Just watching one of them takes me back to simpler times, poor quality video clips, and the excitement, oh the excitement of stumbling upon a new wrestling company! Anyway, that's how I feel about watching a match with Flash/Lionel.
I don't exactly know when I found nwrestling, but I do know that I was on youtube when suddenly a bunch of hot, toned, and sweaty men appeared wrestling and pulling punches on each other. The earlier nrwrestling matches were great in my opinion, I know the site has its detractors but back then it didn't try too hard to be butch and instead really focused on lingering shots of guys bodies going through the motions of wrestling as opposed to actual wrestling.
In any case, Flash along with Drake were their two main draws and I could not get enough of both guys. Flash seemed intense, yet friendly, tough, yet vulnerable; just an intriguing contradiction of wrestling personas all mixed together.
Although pricy, I quickly bought a membership and rapidly consumed every match I could find. Flash was truly a hard worker and appeared in literally hundreds of performances. So in honor of that great feat - the great Mr. Flash in all his exhaustive glory.
