NHB - Daddy Texas v Cody

SPOILER ALERT: I highly recommend viewing this match in its entirety before reading this post. 

So let's begin: 

+1: Both guys look phenomenal and I know I open with this point a lot but come on, look at them.  This deserves a bonus [+1].  Cody's tight, shorter and buff body versus Texas' taller but still muscular build look stunning on the mat.  

+1: For the mat work.  Don't get me wrong, I love a good grappling match but this match is just the right speed for the camera person and the audience to keep up.  Some matches are just too fast for everyone to get the full effect but not this match - these two keep it quick but watchable.  

+1: About 5 minutes into this match I was pleasantly surprised by how good the grappling was.  I shouldn't stereotype but usually hot guys = below average wrestling, but this was absolutely not the case with Daddy Texas and Cody.  They got skills.  

+1: Nice give and take.  Watching these two I get the feeling that I'm witnessing two amateur buddies duking it out.  Not a fully polished match but frankly that adds to the appeal of this.

+1: I know the moves are being pulled but their holds are just so darn fluid, it's almost like they're covered in oil but they clearly are not.  

+1: My favorite part is when both competitors are tiring out and giving it their final push to victory.  Their movements are not as brisk or forceful as they began and now it becomes a battle of stamina.

So there you have it. I hate to admit it but my expectations for this match started out pretty low - when both guys are model beautiful, they typically rely on their looks to carry them however I was quickly shut up when I saw them wrestle. Both guys had decent wrestling skills and their extra hot bodies were a bonus.  This will definitely be one of my go to grappling matches in the future.
