Flash v Jeff Clark

SPOILER ALERT: I highly recommend viewing this match in its entirety before reading this post. 

This review will look at multiple Jeff Clark/Flash pairings as they all seem to roll together in my mind.  

So let's begin: 

+1: I appreciate they had to handicap the mighty Jeff Clark by introducing him with an injured neck and expecting a training session instead of a legit match.  No other plausible way to take down Jeff in my opinion.  

+1: For all the long lingering holds.  While no one can accuse NRW of being the most realistic matches, I really dig all the long pauses and slow holds that really let you take the entire match in.   

+1: For how sweaty Flash and Jeff get in this match.  Jeff always looks amazing but, when the guy glistens it takes it to another level.  Also I can't mention it enough but wrestling is hard work and while some matches have more/less talent, I'll never underestimate the amount of hard work that goes into these things. 

+1: Jobber Jeff is hot however, nothing compares to beast mode Jeff.  A point for Jeff unleashing the animal.  

+1: Along those lines, in addition to his shear tenacity, there's a point just for the man, the myth, the legend, Jeff himself and that amazing body.  

+1: I don't know if I truly believed that Jeff could be taken down like this but it was still a great moment and deserves a point.  After being on the losing end the entire match, Flash turning the tables on the beast that is Jeff Clark and making him suffer all within the span of like 5 minutes.  

+1: Both guys have terrific attitudes going into this match.  In these matches, both Flash and Jeff are typically the good guys and even though they are pushed to their limits, it still looks like they're having a good time.  I think that deserves a bonus point [+1] because it adds to the watch-ability of this match. I don't know who to cheer for because I want them both to win.

So there you have it. These two guys (along with Drake) are the top NRW talent in my opinion and pairing them together was bound to make waves.  I found around 5 matches with these two and although the storyline went something like 'Flash wins, Jeff suffers' or 'Jeff triumphs, Flash is squashed' they still held my interest and their talent truly shines through.  Despite the fact that it's been years since I've seen these matches they still hold up and are my favorite in the NRW universe.
