Chad Lambert (muscleboywrestling.com) / Daddy Texas (undergroundwrestler.com, wrestlefrat.myshopify.com)

Sometimes you come for the eye candy but stay for the wrestling.  That just about sums up my impressions of Daddy Texas/Chad Lambert.  

Daddy Texas (undergroundwrestler.com, wrestlefrat.myshopify.com) / Chad Lambert (muscleboywrestling.com) 

For starters, the performer Daddy Texas was not who I expected just going off of his name alone.  Not in a bad way mind you, just not what I was expecting. In my mind I pictured a Brooklyn Bodywrecker type of wrestler who would take charge and make the boys submit with his overt maturity and dominance.

In any case, that was surprise #1 to find instead, a young handsome buck who took as much as he gave in his matches.  Surprise #2 was this star's wrestling skills in NHB - Daddy Texas v Cody.  As I mentioned in my previous post on the match, Daddy Texas definitely has skills and perhaps I've been burned by years of hot guys coasting off of their looks.  I can't wait to see what else the guy can come up with next and how he improves as a wrestler.  

Recently I found the guy on muscleboywrestling as another persona, Chad Lambert.  And while I'm confident Chad could've taken Johnny Greco in a real match, I get why the match progresses as it did to show off Chad's fantastic body. If I had to pick an appearance, I would hands down pick his NHB match with Cody however, the action is definitely inline with the muscleboywrestling's style with long, lingering holds highlighting Chad's long and lean frame. 

So to sum things up yet again, I've learned that you shouldn't judge a wrestler by their call sign and just as important, you shouldn't judge a wrestler based on being ridiculously good looking.
