Is there anything better than watching a wrestler come into their own? Okay yes, of course there are better things but it still gives me a thrill to watch someone evolve, especially someone on a trajectory like Brendan Byers.
I first experienced a Brendan Byers match (yes it is an experience to behold) where he attempted his best to fend off the mighty Aryx Quinn. The guy was undeniably cute, and his tall, strapping presence alone was more than enough to hold my interest as he tried in vain to hold off the Aryx onslaught.
Later matches against the Brooklyn Bodywrecker and Cole Cassidy to name a few also were too good to pass up. Come to think of it, is it just me or does the guy have a thing for wrestling the toughest heels around? Say what you will about him but Brendan in the jobber role, is nothing if not dedicated to his craft.
Fast forward to the present where a heavily muscled and highly dominate Brendan fought and held his own against the formidable Kayden Keller.

Brendan Byers v Gabe Steel - I'd make a corny joke about how Brendan bends a lot of steel but I'm too classy for that.
