What defines a wrestling studio?  Is it the stable of performers?  The match direction?  For me, UCW will always stand out as the quirky, experimental, wild and crazy cousin to all other wrestling studios.  So who is the king of this studio?

I don't watch nearly enough mat wrestling.  Lately I've been gravitating towards ring matches because of all the long, lingering close ups and often better production values.  All this to say I'm going to start posting more mat wrestling and I'll start off with Aron Stokes.

There is just something about gay wrestling from the late 90's/00's that will never come again.  I can't quite place what makes this era so great - it could be the wrestlers, it could be the action, or it could all well be in my head.  But with that, get ready for a long read about this era - gay wrestling at the dawn of the millennium.

I'm almost positive there's a secret tunnel or something from the thundersarena studios that leads directly to where they film gayhoolpa.  There has to be because there is just so much overlap in their performers.  Take Big Stick / Jordan Joseph for instance.
