Everything Great About this Match: +5
SPOILER ALERT: I highly recommend viewing this match in its entirety before reading this post.
So let's begin:
+1: A point for Red Jay (Carter Jones) - the guy is tall, sexy, and totally has that hero look. I imagine the Dudley-do-right flying around, helping out, and doing something like recycling whenever he can.
+1: While I may have initially bought the video for Red Jay, it was Dark Lord (Dan Parker) that truly made this match work. His over the top villainy coupled with that heel energy, really put this match over the top. [+1] This deserves a bonus point for heel/Villainy done right. Dark Lord really steals the show with his brutal yet almost cartoonish performance.
+1: I love how both performers embraced the hero-villain dynamic. I'm sure it's not easy to pull off something so outlandish but both men go at it with gusto.
+1: A point for convincing me. Red Jay's look of shear hopelessness and anguish coupled with Dark Lord's tyranny is superb. The pair make the perfect balance of hero-villain and jobber-heel. With each and every layer of super power stripped away, we can almost feel our hero becoming weaker and weaker.

Everything Great About this Match: +5
So there you have it. This is an impeccable single scene from the great Hard Heroes studios. While it's a shame that this studio seems to be done creating, matches like this will live on in my mind. The fight offers everything great about Hard Heroes / Can-Am: Top notch production values and sexy actors committed to the role. Is this wrestling? Well no, but in its place I was captivated by the hero-villain dynamic and watched in despair as our handsome hero met his demise.
