Matmen 9 - Todd Brophy v Shane McCall
SPOILER ALERT: I highly recommend viewing this match in its entirety before reading this post.
So let's begin:
+1: Shane's body is insane in this match. Can we talk about this for a sec, maybe stop, linger, and drool over his hot and hairy body? Todd's bod, hey that rhymes, looks great too, but Shane is just on another level.
+1: I love the give and take in this match! Todd clearly has skills of his own but again Shane could dominate if he wanted too. To make the match interesting I'm guessing, Shane allows the younger guy to gain some ground in the match before ultimately taking said ground away.
+1: We need more singlet matches. Singlets are just hot. They show just enough of a wrestlers body so you know they are built and can be even hotter when stripped away. A bonus is the nostalgia factor that some of us (me) have with them.
+1: [Shane] "You were good but not that good". Like I said Shane gave and then he took away.
+1: Just that confidence and Shane's swagger is sexy. Shane approached Todd with a determined look. Someone was going down in a second and Shane had the muscle backing him up, ensuring it wouldn't be him today. Nostrils flaring, he goes for the kill. At least that's the commentary in my mind.
+1: Like I said it wouldn't be great as a squash match so Todd gets to have some fun too. Not too much fun but some fun at least.
+1: Around 15 minutes into this match, playtime is over and Shane unleashes beast mode. There is no stopping the guy at this point and it's clear that all this was a prelude to his inevitable victory.
+1: I love how Shane just toys with Todd on so many levels. He's clearly having a blast owning the young stud.
+1: [Todd] "You gonna wrestle like a man?"

So there you have it. This has rapidly become one of my new favorite matches. The guys are in terrific shape and while Shane is the top wrestler by far, the match has just enough back-and-forth to keep it interesting. And yes I know the video quality is not up to today's standards; but frankly, that adds to the experience for me when I'm watching one of erotic wrestling's legends show off why he deserves to be in that category.
