Wrestling and porn have a lot in common when it comes to the outward appearances v the actual realities going on beneath the surface and many former pro wrestlers/adult performers struggle with a lot of the same demons. While I'm not naïve to think that people enter these fields wide-eyed and for the love of the art; I am dismayed when I hear about anyone (no matter their character) in rough shape.
I first noticed Josh Steel as one of the hot, Abercrombie and Fitch, jock boy clones at Rock Hard Wrestling. At the time to be honest it was hard to distinguish a lot of the performers from each other and I had a hard time telling them apart. The matches hold up decently and while they play more off of the aesthetics (read hot boys) versus the performance, some of them were just so distractingly handsome that I couldn't not buy them if you know what I mean.
In honestly, I only rediscovered this performer after I read about his arrests a fe years ago which then led me down a rabbit hole of his adult performances followed by his wrestling matches. Now I have no idea what this guy is like, but still it's something that's sad and something that sits right below the surface for many I imagine.
